NINJAGO!!!!!!!!! ( Season 4 Part 1 Review )

April 2, 2026 by Luna

Now before we start, this will contains spoilers for season 4 of Ninjago: Dragons Rising, so go please watch it if you haven’t, it is awesome and I absolutely love it because it is Ninjago.

Ok, how do we start with this?

I woke up 3:00 in the morning to watch Ninjago’s new season, 3:00 in my timeline but it was technically midnight in another timeline, where I suspect where Netflix headquarters is because it was midnight at 3:00.

But anyways I watch almost four episodes but turn off the TV and go to sleep, because I was tired and it was like 4:30 in the morning when I was watching.

First of all, big relief we can all scream that it is a miracle! Jay has finally cut his hair in the last episode! I have been bothered by his long hair for so long that seeing him with the short hair feels like a miracle to me.

Second of all, they made Lloyd’s voice even deeper, so do you know what that means? Every girl that has a crush on him, especially after his voice got deeper in season 8, would be crushing so much more harder because his voice got deeper, because I know I was.

I give this a nine out of 10, just because they didn’t reveal Ras’s master, and I am basically begging my own self for them to make it the Overlord.

I absolutely hate Mr. Slitherbottom, who is Frak’s father, more than I hate Harumi.

Speaking of Frak, why is he the most relatable character in the whole entire season? Other than Lloyd who was basically dealing with his depression self?

Oh, yeah, let’s talk about the whole entire trial thing that he had in this weird Temple! I love the concept of it I just wished they revealed that like future Lloyd was actually his opponent or he was going to meet future Lloyd before battling his opponent.

I love teenager Lloyd that came, but to me he was more like just a teenager or like preteen, I could not decide if I hated him or loved him, because he was driving me absolutely insane with the word games.

But do you want to know who’s worse? Young Lloyd, and the only reason because of that is because he started talking about seeds, for reasons I cannot say it drove me absolutely insane and I almost didn’t want to watch Ninjago, and I almost kicked my brother out the room because, … If you are young I will put this simply so I will not get in trouble, the seed talk felt inappropriate to me, especially because of how young Lloyd was saying it.

I was waiting for Jay the whole entire time to bust out crying again over Nya’s two deaths, but I guess that won’t be happening, I really hope they do that in part 2.

Even though these episodes were the same amount of length as usual, about 22 to 23 minutes, they felt longer, they also felt like they took a lot of expiration from Star Wars.

You got these weird coconut guys that live in trees like Ewoks and you also got this monster in The Land Of Madness, that has other monsters inside of it, just like that weird worm creature in a asteroids in Star Wars.

Also I absolutely love the Dragon-Human designs, or whatever their called, I don’t really care they are awesome looking, and now Lloyd has turned into a Oni and a Dragon, pretty cool.

Animation was kind of weird and hard to get used to, but that’s because I’ve been recently watching hand drawn cartoons – Ben 10 and Foster’s Care For Imaginary Friends – so it took a few minutes for me to get used to their eyes getting bigger the way they were.

And last but not least, my final note, the best save for last, and something that might make you rethink Ninjago.

Ninjago: Dragons Rising has definitely been leaning towards kids my age, AKA, teens.

I think of that because of everything I’ve watched in season 4, you got Frak who just accepted that his father would never notice him, like sometimes I’ll do something awesome, but my brain will think it’s horrible and I just have to accept that.

You got Lloyd basically fighting his depressed self, or technically in my way of saying this, he was basically fighting his brain, that was used to protecting him and telling him that he was useless, I feel that way when I make something awesome to me.

I write a book that looks professional looking? It doesn’t feel or look professional, it feels wrong and not me, but the thing is I don’t know the real me, because I’m still growing up, and my brain thinks I’m useless because I sit in bed all day trying to write but most of the time gets stuck in just watch TV I’ve watched over 10 times.

And you can’t forget Frak’s crush on Sora, he is literally just me when he tried confessing in the end of season 3 part 2, when I tried confessing to my crush when we were both very young, I think I was about 8ish, maybe much younger.

But anyways, I love the show, nothing will make me hate it, Nya when she got her elemental powers near the end would be my exact reaction if I had Elemental powers they disappeared and then they came back.

And yes I know this Thursday and not Friday, but I was way too excited not to post this, also I got the Wings of Fire book 16, I love it so much, it’s really good, just hate one thing about it, but we all have our criticism and nothing can be perfect.

Byeeeee, have a great life, and don’t forget to Ninja-GO!

( Gosh, that sounds so cheesy. )
